RITES Limited Recruitment 2026 - Additional General Manager / Deputy General Manager / Joint General Manager (Mech) - 03 Posts (Deputation/Immediate Absorption)

RITES Limited, a Navratna Enterprise of the Govt. of India under the Ministry of Railways, invites applications from eligible IRSME Officers for filling up 03 posts of Additional General Manager/Deputy General Manager/Joint General Manager (Mech) on deputation / immediate absorption basis in RITES Limited. The vacancy is notified through Vacancy Circular No. 16/26 (D) dated 23.07.2026. IRSME Officers of Senior Scale/Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) level are required for this position.

Scale of Pay & Designation

• Deputy General Manager (Mech): Senior Scale IRSME officers i.e. IRSME officers working in Level-11 of 7th CPC, shall be designated as Deputy General Manager (Mech) on deputation as well as on immediate absorption basis.
• Joint General Manager (Mech): IRSME Officers with 3 years' service in Senior Scale shall be designated as Joint General Manager (Mech) only on deputation basis.
• Additional General Manager (Mech): JAG IRSME officers i.e. IRSME officers working in Level-12 of 7th CPC, shall be designated as Additional General Manager (Mech) on deputation as well as on immediate absorption basis.

As per Railway Board guidelines, the employee is entitled to parent pay plus deputation allowance and other perks as admissible on deputation.

Tenure

The normal tenure of deputation shall be 3 (three) years, which may be extended depending upon the requirement and performance.

Eligibility Criteria

• Level: IRSME Officers of Senior Scale / Junior Administrative Grade (JAG).
• Age Limit: IRSME officer should not be more than 55 years (on Immediate Absorption basis) and 57 years (on Deputation basis) as on the last date of submission of application.

Selection Process

Marking criteria is attached in Annexures - II & III of the vacancy circular.

For Deputation (Annexure-II):

Candidates securing a score of 60% or above shall be qualified for being considered, as per the order of merit in the Merit List.

For Immediate Absorption (Annexure-III):

Candidates securing a score of 75% or above shall be qualified for being considered, as per the order of merit in the Merit List.

How to Apply

1. Applicants are required to apply online in the registration format available in the Career Section of the RITES website: http://www.rites.com. While submitting the online application, the system would generate a 'Registration No.' on top of the online form filled up by the candidate.
2. A copy of this online application form containing the registration number is to be printed, signed and attached with the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-IV) along with a detailed CV.
3. Applications are to be sent through the respective administrative officer (HOD) indicating No Objection, Vigilance/DAR clearance and Vigilance/D&AR records indicating details of penalties (if any) imposed upon the applicant during service, and ACRs/APARs for the past 05 years.
4. The forwarded application along with other required documents must reach RITES within 45 (forty-five) days from the date of issue of the vacancy notice.
5. The applicant is also advised to send an advance copy of the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-IV) along with detailed CV directly at kapil.soni3@rites.com at the earliest for RITES record.

Important: In the absence of receipt of the forwarded application and required documents within the stipulated period, the advance copy of the application so received will be liable for non-consideration. No correspondence either from the applicant or from his organization in this regard, including the request for extension of time period, shall be entertained. In case of any difficulty in registering online/clarification, if any, the same may be taken up with the above-mentioned e-mail ID.

Accommodation & Other Benefits

RITES will provide Company/Leased Accommodation as per entitlement to the officer who joins RITES on deputation. The Ministry of Railways has conveyed approval for continuance of officers on deputation on exemption from the rule of immediate absorption to RITES for a period of three years beyond 31.08.2023 vide their letters No. 2008/PL/45/04 Pt. dated 02.08.2024 and 20.12.2024.
