Qualification
PhD in Hydrology/Hydraulics/Civil Engineering from IITs/IISc; five or more relevant research papers in journals of repute (Q1). Preference to candidates with experience in climate change and reservoir sedimentation in dam and hydro-power projects. Experience: 10 years or more in the government sector.
Broad fields of work: Catchment area treatment; sedimentation and silt monitoring, analysis and management in catchment, rivers and reservoirs; impact of climate change on hydrological processes, hydropower and dam projects; status report writing, updating, implementing in field, consultations with dam owners and stakeholders, participation in courses.
