• EAM: Vikram Sodhi Centre of Excellence for AI-enabled Geological and Mining Systems (PI: Mukunda Dev Behera).

Essential Qualifications

Project Research Scientist-III (IRNO/2026/101)

• Ph.D in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with specialization in Thermal Engineering from a reputed institute (thesis submitted candidates awaiting defence may also apply); OR
• Post Graduate Degree (M.E/M.Tech/M.S) in Thermal Engineering with 3 years post-qualification experience in reputed industry/organization; OR
• Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with 5 years post-qualification experience. Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer with hands-on experience in 3D modelling, CFD/FEA, CAD and control system design desired.

Senior Project Assistant (IRNO/2026/102)

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute with 2 years experience, OR a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year experience, OR Graduation in any discipline with 5 years of experience. Hands-on experience in 3D modelling, CAD design and fabrication desired.

Senior Research Fellow (VJA/2026/103)

• B.Tech/B.E./M.E/M.Tech in ECE/ETC/EE discipline with a valid GATE score and two years of research experience. Minimum 60% marks throughout the academic career. Strong fundamentals in digital communication, DSP or wireless communication desired.

Project Officer GR-1 (EAM/2026/103)

• Masters degree with minimum 15 years of administrative/secretarial experience from a reputed institute. Knowledge of computer applications and secretarial experience is must.

Project Assistant (EAM/2026/104)

• Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline with minimum 15 years working experience from a reputed institute.
