Projects

• FNI (ISRO): Fault Exclusion Algorithm for a Kalman Filter Based GPS NavIC Integrity Monitor (PI: Susmita Bhattacharyya).
• NGS (DFTM-DRDO): Secure and Intelligent Indigenous Network Packet Processor on FPGA with Hardware based Stateful Firewall for Real-time Intrusion Detection/Prevention (PI: Rajat Subhra Chakraborty).

Essential Qualifications

Junior Research Fellow (FNI/2026/105)

• MTech/MS/ME or BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering with specialization in signal processing;
• At least 65% marks throughout since class 10, or at least 65% marks till 10+2 and 7/10 CGPA afterwards; valid GATE/NET score needed.
• Good knowledge of Matlab, C/C++ and embedded coding required.

Senior Research Fellow (NGS/2026/109)

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/PG Professional Course selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship)/GATE or national-level examinations, with two years of research experience;
• M.Tech/M.E in CS/CSE/IT/ECE/EE or related discipline and VLSI design on FPGA/ASIC platform using Verilog/VHDL desirable.

Research Associate (NGS/2026/110)

• Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree, or 3 years research/teaching/design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• Machine learning with good programming skills in Python (PyTorch etc.) desirable; openness to apply AI/ML principles to different application domains.

Important Notes
