• NDT (ICMR): National Center for Measurement and Assurance of Trustworthiness, Privacy and Security of Medical AI Systems (TRUSMAPS) (PI: Debdeep Mukhopadhyay).
• MQA (ANRF): Power Management and Quality Enhancement of Traction Substation in Indian Railways: A Power Conditioning and Energy Storage Approach (PI: Shambhu Sau).

Essential Qualifications

Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) (NDT/2026/102)

• Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees; OR
• For Engineering / IT / CS – Four Years Graduate Degree.
• Background in AI and Security would be appreciated. Age relaxation up to 5 years may be granted to deserving candidates having experience of working in a Government Research Organization, on a case-to-case basis.

Junior Research Fellow (MQA/2026/101)

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship)/GATE or national-level examinations of DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
• Knowledge of power electronics is essential. MATLAB Simulink, PCB design, hardware design and test experience are desirable. Applicant should have BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering with a valid GATE score, or ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering.

Important Notes

• Tenure: NDT 60 months, MQA 30 months, or termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
• The contract of engagement shall initially be up to one year, extendable subject to requirement and performance review.
• The fixed-term engagement automatically ceases if not extended; no retrospective extension is permissible.
