Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, Research & Development Office invites online applications for a temporary position of Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Essential Qualification/Experience (as per Funding Agency norms)
- Ph.D. (degree awarded/thesis submitted) in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics / Computer Science and Engineering or related discipline.
- The candidate should have a good academic record throughout; minimum 60% or equivalent in Graduation and above, and 55% or equivalent grade in Class 10th and 12th.
Desirable Qualification/Experience
- Expertise in VLSI Design, Digital and Analog electronics, Electronic Devices, Computer Architecture, and relevant courses.
- Track record of relevant publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals and preferably first author publications in reputed journals (Q1/Q2) and/or A*/A conferences.
- Strong foundational knowledge in thermodynamics and kinetics.
- Familiarity with VLSI EDA tools and familiarity with coding.
- Ability to conduct independent research and excellent scientific communication skills.
Job Description
The selected candidate will lead the research related to compute in memory and IC design. The candidate is expected to have excellent understanding of Digital & Analog Circuits, VLSI design, etc. and should have exposure to relevant VLSI tools and techniques. Candidates with excellent programming skills in C/C++/Python, Verilog/System Verilog or equivalent, and candidates with interest in computer architecture and having knowledge of system simulators will be given preference. Students with exposure of ADCs, DACs, etc. will be preferable.
