Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), Malpe, Karnataka (a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited) invites applications from eligible ITI certificate holders for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961.

Eligibility
Pass in X standard AND pass in ITI in the concerned trade (National Trade Certificate in the designated trades). Minimum age 18 years as on 14.10.2026. Only candidates who are domicile of Karnataka shall be considered. Those who have undergone apprenticeship training in any organisation for any duration under the Apprentices Act 1961 are not eligible.
Selection Process
Shortlisting based on percentage of marks in the prescribed qualification; ties resolved by seniority in age. Shortlisted candidates appear for certificate verification (application printout, age/qualification/caste certificates). Rank lists operate only if selected candidates do not join; unfilled seats are treated as fresh vacancies.
