Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), Malpe, Karnataka (a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited) invites applications from eligible Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders (passed during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026) for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.

Graduate holders in Engineering are also invited to apply as Graduate Apprentices as per the notification; duration of training is one year.
Eligibility
Engineering Degree / Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized university / State Board of Technical Education (or equivalent with equivalency certificate); passed during 2022–2026. Age above 18 years as on 14.10.2026. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Act are NOT eligible. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government directives.
Selection Process
Shortlisting for certificate verification based on original certificates (age, qualification, marks, caste, disability); provisional selection in order of merit/reservation subject to medical fitness. No travel expenses are admissible; boarding/lodging is not provided.
