Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) has released Advertisement No. 045/SPSC/EXAM/2026 dated 09/07/2026 for engagement of Village Level Workers (VLW) on a temporary-regular basis (Level-9 of the Pay Matrix) in the Sikkim State Subordinate Agriculture Service under the Agriculture and Horticulture Department, Government of Sikkim. A total of 69 Village Level Worker posts are to be filled through direct recruitment via a written examination.

Note: Sports Person, Person with Benchmark Disability and Artisan of Excellence quota seats are also available as per the notification. Roster points reserved for SPAE, ESM and PFAR are not carried forward. Unfilled women-supernumerary seats may be filled by male candidates of the same reserved category (Notification No. M (14)/136/GEN/DOP dated 26.11.2018).
The selection will be through a Written Examination; detailed scheme and pattern are given in APPENDIX-I. The syllabus can be downloaded from the SPSC website / SPSC Village Level Worker Syllabus 2026. E-Admit Cards will be available for download before the exam.
At the examination centre, candidates must carry a valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License) along with the e-Admit Card.
Those who qualify the written exam will be called for document verification/scrutiny (no TA/DA). Admission to every stage is provisional subject to eligibility.
