RITES Limited Recruitment 2026 - Senior Manager / Manager / Assistant Manager (Mech) for African Sites on Deputation

RITES Ltd., a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, invites applications for filling up 02 posts of Senior Manager / Manager / Assistant Manager (Mechanical) on deputation basis in various projects of RITES Limited for African sites, from eligible JE/SSE/Group-B/Jr. Scale (Mech) officials.

Note: These 02 posts were earlier advertised vide VC No. 08/26 (D) dated 28.04.2026 (Pers/9/6/Depu/Mech/2026) and remained vacant due to non-receipt of suitable forwarded applications.

Scale of Pay & Designation

As per Railway Board guidelines, the employee is entitled to parent pay plus deputation allowance, foreign allowance (as applicable) and other perks as admissible on deputation.

Tenure & Location

Location: African Sites (various projects of RITES Limited). However, the official can be posted anywhere in the Country or abroad as per requirement.

Tenure: The normal tenure of deputation shall be 3 (three) years, which may be extended depending upon the requirement and performance.

Experience, Qualification & Age

Experience: SSE/JE (Diesel Mechanical) with minimum 08 years of experience in Maintenance of ALCO Diesel Electric Locomotives of Indian Railways / Railways PSUs.

Qualification: Full-time Bachelor''s degree / diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Age: Candidate should not be more than 55 years (On Immediate absorption basis) and 57 years (On Deputation basis) as on last date of submission of application.

Accommodation

RITES will be providing Company/Leased Accommodation as per entitlement to the officer who joins RITES on deputation.

Exemption from Permanent Absorption

The Ministry of Railways has conveyed their approval for continuance of Officers on deputation on exemption from the rule of immediate absorption to RITES for a period of three years beyond 31.08.2023 vide their letters No. 2008/PL/45/04 Pt. dated 02.08.2024 and 20.12.2024.

Selection Process

Marking criteria as per Annexure-II of the vacancy circular:

Candidates securing 60% or above shall be qualified for being considered, as per the order of merit in the Merit List.

How to Apply

1. Applicants are required to apply online in the registration format available in the Career Section of RITES website, http://www.rites.com. While submitting the online application, the system will generate a Registration No. on top of the online form. A copy of this online application form containing the registration number is to be printed, signed and attached with the application in the prescribed format (Annexure III) along with detailed CV.
2. Applications are to be sent through the respective administrative officer (HOD) indicating No Objection, Vigilance/DAR clearance and Vigilance/D&AR records indicating details of penalties (if any) imposed upon the applicant during his service, and ACRs/APARs for the past 05 years. The applicants are also required to send their application in the prescribed format (Annexure III) along with detailed CV.
3. The forwarded application along with other required documents must reach us within 45 (forty five) days from the date of issue of vacancy notice i.e. up to 03.10.2026. The applicant is also advised to send an advance copy of his application in the prescribed format (Annexure III) along with detailed CV directly at kapil.soni3@rites.com at the earliest for our record. However, in the absence of receipt of the forwarded application and the required documents within the stipulated period, the advance copy of the application so received will be liable for non-consideration for the subject post. No correspondence either from the applicant or from his organization in this regard including the request for extension of time period shall be entertained.
