Oil India Higher Secondary School (OIHSS), Field Headquarters, Duliajan

Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking, intends to engage the following personnel (domicile of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh) purely on contractual basis for immediate engagement in Oil India Higher Secondary School (OIHSS), Field Headquarters, Duliajan. Advertisement No. HRAQ/CONT-WP-B/26-303 dated 19/08/2026. The contractual requirement is purely temporary in nature and may entail working in shifts involving arduous and hazardous nature of jobs in remote/far-flung OIL installations/locations and also on "On-Call" duty basis. Selection will be through Walk-in for Personal Assessment on 07/09/2026.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria (as on the date of registration for Walk-in for Personal Assessment)

Domicile: Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Contractual Emoluments

• Fixed Emolument: Rs. 21,450.00 per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday, if any.
• Variable Emolument: Rs. 825.00 per day for each working day.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates will be selected based on Walk-in for Personal Assessment(s) of total 100 marks.
• Qualifying/pass marks: 50 for all categories.
• Assessment parameters: Professional Knowledge and skills (concerned discipline), Professional Knowledge and skills (allied discipline), Personal Attributes and Soft Skills.
• Final selection will be made based on merit only as per the marks obtained, securing the qualifying/pass marks of 50 or above.

Walk-in for Personal Assessment Details

Note: Registration at the venue is mandatory between 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M. No candidate will be allowed to register beyond this time frame under any circumstances.

Period of Contractual Engagement

The engagement is purely contractual. Initial period: 01 (one) year, extendable for another 01 (one) year depending on departmental requirement, job performance, conduct, physical fitness, etc. Total period: maximum 02 (two) years.

Documents Required (Original + Self-Attested Copies)

• Filled in Personal Bio-Data Form (format given in advertisement); 01 recent 3cm x 3cm coloured passport photograph.
• Valid Photo Identity Proof and valid Address Proof issued by Competent Government Authority.
• Date of Birth proof - Class 10th Certificate containing DoB.
• Admit Card, Marksheet and Pass Certificate of Class 10th; documents/certificates of essential qualifications (all semester/years & Final Marksheet, Pass Certificate, Experience Certificates).
• Valid Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), NCL certificate, EWS certificate, Disability certificate, Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book, NOC if employed in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Body, EPF Pass Book, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Bank Pass Book.

General Conditions

• The contract can be terminated at any time by giving notice of 15 (fifteen) days, by either side.
• Selected candidates will be entitled to total Contract Emoluments (Fixed + Variable components); in case of Maternity Leave, only the Fixed component shall be paid.
• Statutory benefits of EPF and Gratuity will be applicable; selected candidates must submit their UAN to OIL.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Walk-in; candidates have to make their own arrangements.
• The engagement is purely contractual and shall not confer any right/claim for employment/regularization in OIL.
• Any dispute will be under the jurisdiction of Dibrugarh district court only.

Important Instructions

• Candidates should be of sound health and must provide a fitness certificate from a Govt. Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of joining.
• Provisionally selected candidates will have to submit a Police verification certificate at the time of engagement.
• Class 10th Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by the concerned Government Recognized Education Board will only be considered as valid proof of date of birth.
• Reservation for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per Govt of India Guidelines.
