The position reports to the Registrar, NLSIU and is based at the NLSIU campus, Bangalore.

Qualifications

Essential: Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

Desirable: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) professional qualifications.

Essential Experience and Skills

• Minimum 15 years of administrative experience in a supervisory position maintaining audited accounts, preparing budgets, managing procurement, and ensuring compliance with administrative processes and legal regulations, in a recognized University or other public/private entity with over 200 employees on payroll and turnover of more than INR 25 crores.
• Fluency in written and oral English with excellent drafting, formulation and reporting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Office software, accounting software, ERP systems and email applications.
• Budget management, public accounting, cash flow, team management and stakeholder management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, auditing, budgeting, finance and procurement functions.
• Formulate and implement financial policies, financial planning and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with legal, financial and procurement policies for donor funded projects.
• Conduct risk management and audits as per applicable laws.
