Eligibility
- The candidate must be an accomplished professional in the chosen discipline, comparable to at least the top one third of the regular faculty in professional expertise and reputation.
- The association must add value to the academic programmes, students, department or institute.
- Normally at least 10 years of experience in the relevant field is desirable; in emerging and cutting-edge technologies, candidates with more than 5 years may be considered.
- For candidates from industry or research organisations, domain knowledge of significant value is required. A post-graduate or Ph.D. degree may not be an essential qualification.
- Eligible backgrounds include serving and retired scientists, engineers, physicians, professionals, academicians, practitioners (advocates, artists, bankers), policymakers, and officials or managers from reputed industries, Central/State PSUs, R&D organisations, government academic institutions, civil services and statutory bodies.

Download the prescribed application form and annexures from www.nitkkr.ac.in and send the completed form with self-attested copies of certificates to The Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra - 136119 (Haryana). Write the post applied for, department and discipline on the top-left corner of the envelope. A separate application is required for each post, department and discipline. Candidates in Government, autonomous bodies or PSU service must apply through proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate at the interview.

Number and nature of posts may change at the time of selection and the Institute may fill none of them. Shortlisting criteria may be higher than those advertised. Candidates have to appear for a presentation and interview at their own cost. Corrigenda and addenda are published only on the Institute website.
