NIA ASI, Head Constable & Data Entry Operator Deputation 2026 – 111 Posts

National Investigation Agency (NIA), Ministry of Home Affairs, invites nominations from serving officers of the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, police organisations and intelligence agencies for 111 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector, Head Constable and Data Entry Operator on deputation basis. All posts are all-India based.

• Total vacancies: 111 – Assistant Sub-Inspector 23, Head Constable 53, Data Entry Operator 35 (subject to variation depending on future vacancy positions)
• Pay: Assistant Sub-Inspector and Data Entry Operator in Level-5 (Rs.29,200-92,300); Head Constable in Level-4 (Rs.25,500-81,700), plus 20% Special Security Allowance over basic pay
• Eligibility: Assistant Sub-Inspector – graduation plus at least 2 years' experience in investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work, operations or information technology management; Head Constable – 12th class pass or equivalent; Data Entry Operator – 'O' or 'A' level certificate in Information Technology
• All three posts require the candidate to hold an analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; for Assistant Sub-Inspector, a Head Constable in Level-4 with five years' regular service in that grade in a State or Central Police Organisation is also eligible
• Age: maximum 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of nominations
• Deputation period including any immediately preceding ex-cadre deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years
• Nominations must be routed through the proper channel to the DIG (Adm), NIA HQ, Opposite CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003
• Documents required: bio-data in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) duly countersigned by the competent authority, attested photo copies of APAR dossier from 2021-22 to 2025-26, Vigilance Clearance Certificate, Integrity Certificate, details of major/minor penalties imposed in the last 10 years and attested photocopies of educational certificates
