Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS), an Autonomous Institution under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, invites applications in the prescribed format for preparation of a panel of candidates for the posts of Non-P.G. Junior Residents (Dental) for a fixed tenure of one year only. Notice No. F.6(15)/MAIDS/Rectt.JR/2026/3770 dated 31/08/2026.

Note: Candidates from this panel may also be offered JRs in other Delhi Govt. Hospitals if so required. The panel shall be valid for 12 months from the date of declaration of final result or until the next recruitment, whichever is earlier.
Age Limit
30 years as on the last date of submission of application (21/09/2026). Relaxation in age is allowed as per rules.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed compulsory rotatory internship on or after 20/09/2024.
- Applicants having post-graduate qualification are not eligible.
- The period for which a candidate has already worked in any Govt. Hospital as Junior Resident (Dental) will be deducted from the maximum period of one year of Junior Residency. Those who have already worked for a period of one year in any Govt. hospitals are not eligible.

The fee shall be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of "Director-Principal, MAIDS", payable at New Delhi. Fee is not refundable in any case.
Selection Process
Selection will be made through a Screening Test followed by an interview of shortlisted candidates. Based on merit, candidates up to three times the number of vacancies in each category will be called for interview, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.
- Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR & EWS, 45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST/EWS/PwD.
- Negative Marking: Each correct answer +4 marks; each incorrect answer -1 mark; no negative marking for unattempted questions.
- Weightage: Screening test 40% + interview/pre-defined parameters 60%.

Complete application in the prescribed format along with documents and fee must reach on or before 21/09/2026 up to 2:00 PM, directly or by post, addressed to:

Documents to Attach
Self-attested copies of certificates in support of: Age, Caste (NCL Certificate for OBC (Delhi)), Experience, Valid Registration with State Dental Council, Internship Completion Certificate, Attempt Certificate, Marks Statements of BDS, BDS Degree/Provisional Certificate, two passport-size photographs, Demand Draft details. Original certificates for awards/medals/honours & copies of publications, if any, to be brought at the time of interview.
Important Notes
- Educational qualification, age etc. shall be determined as on the closing date of submission (21/09/2026).
- Only OBC (Delhi) certificates issued from Govt. of NCT of Delhi shall be accepted; valid NCL certificate for current financial year required.
- EWS candidates must possess valid certificate for the current financial year.
- Eligibility criteria shall be checked only for candidates who qualify the written test.
- Appointment shall be subject to medical fitness & verification of certificates.
- No TA/DA will be paid for written test and interview.
