Overview

Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS), an Autonomous Institution under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, invites interested candidates to attend a Walk-in Interview for the post of Project Technical Support-I on contract basis for the ICMR-funded project: "Leveraging salivary microbiome and metabolomics signatures for non-invasive early detection, prognosis, and risk stratification of oral potentially malignant disorders and cancer".

Walk-in Interview Details

Post Details

Tenure: Initially for 1 year, purely on contract basis. The contract shall be valid for the remaining duration of the project. The incumbent will have no right for regular appointment.

Educational Qualification & Experience

(a) Essential:

• Three years Graduate degree in science + two years post-qualification work experience in research projects.
• Candidates with a graduate degree in relevant scientific disciplines such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc., along with at least two years of research experience in recognized institutions or research projects, are eligible to apply.

(b) Desirable:

• Experience in biological sample collection and handling, research/data collection and documentation, and familiarity with ethical requirements for human research.

How to Apply (Walk-in)

Candidates are required to report at the venue on 26.09.2026 from 08:45-09:00 AM with the duly filled Application Form, Brief CV (limited to 2-3 pages), passport size photograph and all relevant self-attested documents. The eligibility and documents will be scrutinized on the same day prior to the interview.

1. Self-attested copies of certificates in support of Age, Experience, Qualifications and other Qualification(s) (Technical/Professional), if any.
2. Brief CV (limited to 2-3 pages).
3. Passport Size Photograph.

Terms & Conditions

• This post is purely on contract basis. The incumbent will have no right for regular appointment.
• The contract shall be valid for the remaining duration of the project.
• Age and experience will be reckoned as on the date of interview (26.09.2026).
• Appointment can be terminated at any time during the engagement from either side after serving a notice period of one month.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, withdraw the process in full or in part, and reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons or giving notices.
• Candidates already employed should submit a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
• No TA/DA or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for interview or for joining the post.
• Leaves shall be as per the ICMR's policy for project.
• The decision of the Competent Authority regarding selection of the candidate will be final and no representations will be entertained in this regard.
