Job Description / Responsibilities

• Undertake the implementation of project activities as per respective Annual Action Plan under the NRLM / NRETP / SVEP - Non-Farm thematic at the block level.
• Create various data sets of enterprises and entrepreneurs at the block including the baseline survey of existing enterprises; ensure that this data is updated at regular intervals in appropriate MISs.
• Ensure provision of Business Support Services to the entrepreneurs in the block.
• Ensure necessary marketing avenues to the entrepreneurs in the block, especially through monthly markets, kiosks, e-commerce, supply to bulk buyers etc.
• Ensure that Enterprises has the required technical information for the production / services that need to be rendered.
• Ensure that financial requirement of enterprises are met through CIF, CEF, Mudra loans etc.
• Coordinate amongst STLF, GPLFs, WLFs and SHGs and project staff for effective implementation.
• Assist identification and selection of Community Cadre for Non-Farm activities.
• Support the STLF and GPLFs in operationalizing the various activities under the programme and building their capacities, especially Livelihood Sub Committees to take over all the non-farm programme elements.
• Identify new business opportunities and markets for setting up enterprises.
• Identify potential entrepreneurs from the block and ensure EDP and Skill Training are provided to them in coordination with DMMU and Skill Training Agencies / RSETIs.
• Ensure regular monitoring and reporting of entrepreneurship development activities in the block.
• Ensure that both the quantitative and qualitative targets are met as per AAP.
• Ensure MIS and monitoring reports are submitted as per the defined timelines.
• Submit monthly reports on prescribed formats.
• Provide handholding and business management support to the clusters / incubated enterprises being supported in the block.
• Work with Technical Support Agencies, Start-Ups, Incubators, NGOs etc to meet project objectives.
• Documentation of case studies, best practices, and learning notes throughout project implementation.
• Any other task given by supervisor and TMMU / DMMU / SMMU.
