Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala, invites applications for the post of Land Acquisition Officer on re-employment basis (Advt. No. KMRL/HR/REEMPLOYMENT/2026-27/09 dated 05.08.2026).

Qualification & Experience
SSLC with experience as a retired officer in a rank not below than Deputy Collector from Land Revenue Department, Govt of Kerala, with minimum 15 years experience in Land Revenue related matters.
Preference: Candidates having experience in heading Special Land Acquisition units for acquisition/transfer/purchase/mutation of land for State and Central Public Sector Undertaking Companies for Projects; experience in liaison with District Administration and public departments.
Job Description
To handle the Land Acquisition wing of KMRL for all matters related to land acquisition for the project and allied works; work in liaison with Special Land Acquisition units, District Administration, revenue offices, village/taluk offices inside and outside Ernakulam District for acquisition/transfer/mutation/purchase of land; liaison with District Administration, public departments, PSUs, stakeholders and public in land acquisition and project related matters.
