Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala, invites applications for the post of General Manager (Operations & Maintenance) - E8 Grade on regular/deputation basis, or on re-employment basis as Chief Operations & Maintenance Manager (or Additional General Manager (O&M) / Addl. Chief O&M Manager - E7 equivalent) (Advt. No. KMRL/HR/2026-27/06 dated 04.08.2026).

Educational Qualification
Regular: B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized University/Institute.
Deputation: Serving IRTS/IRSSE/IRSEE/IRSME/IRSE officers of Indian Railways or its subsidiary/sister concerns OR B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Engineering.
Re-employment: Retired IRTS/IRSSE/IRSEE/IRSME/IRSE officers of Indian Railways OR B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 20 years post qualification experience in Operations and/or construction and/or Maintenance of Signalling/Telecom/Rolling Stock/Traction (minimum 15 years in executive/managerial cadre) in Railways or its subsidiaries/Rail PSUs and/or Metro Rail Corporations (for regular appointment).
