IIT Delhi invites applications from individuals with an established record of independent, high-quality research and commitment to teaching and research for faculty positions at the level of Associate Professor and Professor in various academic units. This is a rolling advertisement (no fixed last date).
Academic Units (12): Applied Mechanics; Chemical Engineering; Civil & Environmental Engineering; Computer Science & Engineering; Design; Humanities & Social Sciences; Mechanical Engineering; Textile & Fibre Engineering; CART; TRIP; School of Public Policy; Yardi School of AI (ScAI).
Qualification & Pay
- Essential: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree, specialization in the appropriate area, consistently good academic record.
- Associate Professor: minimum 6 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience, of which at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. Professor: higher experience as per IIT norms.
- Pay (7th CPC): Associate Professor – Level 13A2 (Rs.1,39,600–2,11,300); Professor – Level 14A (Rs.1,59,100–2,20,200).
- Reservation: SC-15%, ST-7.5%, OBC-NCL-27%, EWS-10%, PwBD-4%. Women encouraged. Foreign nationals on contract (initially 5 years).
