Age Limit
Minimum 35 years and not more than 62 years as on the last date of receipt of application (30.09.2026).
Duration
Purely on contract basis for a fixed period not exceeding 3 years, renewable on a year-on-year basis. Tenure may be extended depending on performance and Institute requirements.
Essential Qualification, Experience & Skills
- CA/CMA/MBA (Finance)
- A minimum of 8 years of experience working in a similar position in a Higher Educational Institute / Institute of repute / PSU / Corporate of repute.
- Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Working knowledge of computer applications and packages.
- Sound knowledge of GeM & GFRs.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing ITR and resolving tax-related issues.
- Preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliation etc.
- Coordination with Internal auditors, Statutory Auditors, CAG Audit etc.
- Filing of GST returns and resolving matters related to GST & other taxes.
- Any other functions or additional duties assigned by the head of the institute from time to time.
Desired experience: Hands-on expertise in statutory compliance, tax filings (ITR/GST), audit coordination (CAG/statutory), financial reporting and bank reconciliations using tools like Tally/ERP; familiarity with government procurement (GeM/GFRs).
