Overview
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) (Deemed to be University, Autonomous body under Department of Commerce, Govt. of India), a premier B-School, invites rolling applications for engagement of an experienced Consultant (Engineer) on contract basis at the IIFT Delhi Campus. Advt. No. Advt./NT/Con./Del./13/2026. The institute is constructing new campuses at Maidan Garhi, Delhi, besides major repairs/renovation works at its existing campus.

Age Limit
Not more than 62 years as on the date of applying for the post.
Tenure
Contractual engagement for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years based on performance and organizational requirements.
Eligibility Qualification & Work Experience
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- Minimum 07 years working experience at middle management level in Institute of repute / Central / State Government / Autonomous bodies etc. engaged in infrastructure activities.
Desirable: Proven track record of handling/managing projects in reputed organizations of relevant magnitude; experience in civil engineering, designing and estimation, construction management; proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint etc.; experience of handling at least one project costing Rs. 50 crore or above.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all construction, maintenance and operation activities of the Institute.
- Monitor and supervise the New Infrastructure Development Project.
- Preparation and evaluation of Tender documents, RFP, EoI etc.
- Manage repair and maintenance day-to-day work in all buildings of the Institute.
- Review legal documents (knowledge of Law of Contracts and Arbitration and Reconciliation).
- Collaborate with Engineers, Architects etc. of PMC to finalize project specifications.
- Evaluate progress with PERT/CPM Charts and prepare detailed reports.
- Review all work for quality, accuracy, functionality and completeness.
