The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) invites applications for the post of Director (Projects & Services) on the Board of Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR), a Schedule 'A'/Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways.
About CONCOR
Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) was incorporated in March 1988. It is a Schedule 'A'/Navratna CPSE under the administrative control of Ministry of Railways. The company provides multi-modal logistics support for India's international and domestic containerised cargo and trade. CONCOR is diversifying into innovative Business Solutions, First Mile Last Mile Service, Bulk Cargo, and Warehousing. The company has a network of Exim and Domestic Terminals spread all over India with 04 Areas, 09 Cluster offices, and 67 ICDs/CFSs.
Job Description
Director (Projects & Services) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director. Responsible for planning, designing and implementation of multi-modal container terminals, maintenance including design of mechanical handling systems, selection of handling equipments, upgradation of existing terminals, technological upgradation of assets, and promoting indigenisation under Atma Nirbhar Scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
Age (as on date of vacancy)
- Age of superannuation: 60 years
- Internal candidates: Minimum 45 years with at least 2 years residual service
- External candidates: Minimum 45 years with at least 3 years residual service
Employment Status
Applicant must be employed in a regular capacity (not contractual/ad-hoc) in one of:
- CPSE (including full-time functional Director)
- Central Govt Group 'A' Officers / Armed Forces / All India Services / Public Sector Banks / Financial Institutions / Autonomous Bodies
- SPSE with annual turnover of Rs. 5,000 crore or more
- Private Sector Company / JV with annual turnover of Rs. 5,000 crore or more
Qualification
Engineering Graduate from a recognised University/Institution. MBA/PGDM in management will have added advantage.
Experience
Five years of cumulative experience/exposure in project planning/execution/monitoring of Multi-modal Transport logistics/domestic transport system during the last ten years.
Pay Scale
Rs. 180,000 – 340,000 (IDA) – Schedule A
Tenure
Five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
