The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) invites applications for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of AI Assets Holding Limited (AIAHL), a 100% Government of India owned Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
About AIAHL
AI Assets Holding Limited (AIAHL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle formed by Government of India with 100% shareholding. It manages subsidiaries including AI Airport Services Limited, AI Engineering Services Limited, Alliance Air Aviation Limited, and Hotel Corporation of India Limited. AIAHL is responsible for managing and monetizing transferred assets of Air India Ltd. and servicing/retiring transferred debt.
Job Description
The Chairman and Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Company, accountable to its Board of Directors and Government. Responsible for the efficient functioning of the Company for achieving corporate objectives and performance parameters. Also responsible to discharge duties as Chairman of the subsidiary companies under AIAHL.
Eligibility Criteria
Age (as on date of vacancy: 01.07.2027)
- Age of superannuation: 60 years
- Internal candidates: Minimum 45 years with at least 2 years residual service
- External candidates: Minimum 45 years with at least 3 years residual service
Employment Status
Applicant must be employed in a regular capacity (not contractual/ad-hoc) in one of:
- CPSE (including full-time functional Director)
- Central Govt Group 'A' Officers / Armed Forces / All India Services / Public Sector Banks / Financial Institutions / Autonomous Bodies
- SPSE with annual turnover of Rs. 750 crore or more
- Private Sector Company / JV with annual turnover of Rs. 750 crore or more
Qualification
Engineering Graduate or Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or Post Graduate or Graduate with MBA/PGDIM from a recognised institute.
Experience
Option 1: 5 years cumulative experience in Finance, Business Development, Production, Operations, Marketing, Project Management, or Corporate Law in a large organisation.
Option 2: 5 years in core HR/IR/Personnel Management along with 3 years in Finance, Business Development, Production, Operations, Marketing, Project Management, or Corporate Law.
Experience in monetization of assets/Financial Accounting will be an added advantage.
Pay Scale
Rs. 180,000 – 320,000 (IDA) – Schedule B
Tenure
Five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
