Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Mangolpuri, Delhi (under Govt. of NCT of Delhi) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Resident Doctors (MBBS) on Ad-hoc Basis.

📋 Vacancy Details

Posts are reserved for SC/ST/OBC (OBC from Delhi only), EWS, and PwBD (4%) as per rules. In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, seats will be filled by general category on Ad-hoc basis.

🎓 Qualification

• MBBS degree from a recognized University
• Must be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or have applied for DMC registration on or before the last date of application
• Must have completed compulsory rotatory internship on or after 30 July 2024

💰 Pay Scale

As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-10 (Pay: Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500) plus allowances as admissible.

🎯 Age Limit

Age Relaxation under Special Criteria: Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 40 years for candidates under the relaxation scheme (Circular No. F.121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10.06.2011).

📄 How to Apply

1. Fill the prescribed application form (enclosed with the notification).
2. Report at the venue on 30 July 2026 between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
3. Bring duly filled application form with photograph & checklist.
4. Bring all original certificates and testimonials along with two passport size photographs.
5. Bring self-attested photocopies of: DOB certificate, Caste certificate, MBBS marksheet & certificate, Internship completion certificate, DMC registration, Attempt certificate, Aadhaar card, Experience certificate (if any).
6. Candidates in Govt. service must submit NOC from employer.
7. OBC candidates must have valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (current financial year) issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi only.
8. EWS candidates must have valid EWS Certificate for current financial year.

📌 Important Terms

• Tenure: Maximum 1 year (including any previous JR service). Initially 89 days, extendable up to 1 year based on satisfactory performance.
• Fresh candidates and relaxed criteria candidates (those who already completed 1 year JR) will have separate merit lists.
• Fresh candidates list will be used first; relaxed criteria list used only if fresh list is exhausted.
• Candidates who have completed one-year Junior Residency (including regular/Ad-hoc) will be considered under Fresh category if not completed.
• Post graduates willing to serve as Junior Residents are allowed.
• Selected candidates must accept offer within 48 hours via email at ms-sgmh@delhi-gov.in.
• Mandatory to avail hostel facility if allotted. Cannot vacate hostel during tenure.
• Proper uniform (white apron) mandatory.
• No TA/DA for attending interview.
• Appointment subject to medical fitness & certificate verification.
• Competent Authority reserves right to amend/cancel the advertisement.
• Candidate must not be working at any Govt./Private Healthcare Facility during tenure.
