Eligibility
- Food Lab: qualification prescribed for Food Analyst under FSS Rules 2011 + 5 yrs as Food Analyst or 5 yrs food testing in recognised lab; OR M.Sc. Microbiology + 5 yrs food testing experience.
- Drug Lab: qualification prescribed for Govt Analyst under Drugs & Cosmetics Rules 1945 + 5 yrs; OR M.Sc. Microbiology + 5 yrs drug testing experience.
- Age (as on 01.01.2026): 25–35 years; CG domicile +5 yrs (max 40); notified SC/ST/OBC +5 (max 38); women 10 yrs as per rules.
Selection
Written exam 300 (150 MCQ, 3 hrs: GK 50Q=100 + Microbiology 100Q=200; Hindi/English; negative 1/3; min 33% UR / 23% reserved) + Interview 30 (shortlist ~3x) = total 330. Selection subject to SLP(C) 19668/2022 & WPS orders.

CG disabled locals Rs. 300; all others Rs. 400 (+ portal fee + GST). Correction window 13–15 Oct (Rs. 500).
