Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), Kolkata, a subordinate office under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, requires the services of a suitable officer by composite method (Deputation plus Promotion) to fill the post of Senior Administrative Officer (Level-11 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 67,700-2,08,700) at ZSI, Kolkata (Vacancy Circular F. No. 38-01/2026-Estt.).

Eligibility

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories:

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department, OR
• With five years service in Level-10 of pay matrix or equivalent on a regular basis
• Degree of a recognized University or Institution
• Five years experience in Accounts, Administration, Establishment work in a Government office or PSU or Autonomous Body or Statutory Body

Duties

To carry overall charge of the administrative affairs of the Survey; act as Head of Office as well as Appointing/Disciplinary Authority for Group C posts; act as Controlling Officer for TA, LTC and reimbursement of medical expenses.
