- Relaxation: 5% at Bachelor's/Master's level for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD; 5% (55%→50%) for PhD holders whose Master's was obtained before 19.09.1991.

Direct recruitment by merit through all-India advertisement. Screening on 100-point scale (Academic Record max 84, Research Publications 6, Teaching/Post-Doc Experience 10, Awards 3); cut-off 55 marks (relaxed 50 for UR/45 for SC/ST/PwBD). Two-stage selection: Presentation Assessment Committee + Selection Committee.
