Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU), Surat invites applications and nominations from distinguished experts of various fields for engagement as Professor of Practice under NEP-2020, as per the UGC Guidelines for Engaging Professor of Practice in Universities and Colleges, in the programmes / interdisciplinary subject areas of the University Post-Graduate Departments for the academic year 2026-27, purely on a temporary basis. (Advt No. Gen/PoP/23393/2026 dated 06.10.2026.)
Engagement and honorarium
- Eminent professionals, industry leaders, practitioners and persons of eminence; subject and thematic areas per Appendix-A of the advertisement
- Persons in the teaching profession (serving or retired) are not eligible
- Honorarium as per university norms (GoG Education and Finance Department resolutions); engagement governed by Ordinance-189 and the University SOP
