M/s Great Sherlock EFMS Private Limited, an empanelled Manpower Outsourcing Agency with Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur under a GeM contract, invites applications for the position of Electrical Safety Officer on a fixed-remuneration contractual basis, for deployment at VNIT Nagpur.

Desirable Qualification & Experience
- One-year Post Diploma in Industrial Safety OR M.Tech in Safety/Industrial Safety or Fire & Safety from a State/Central recognized university/institute.
- Experience in electrification work of high-rise buildings and maintenance of electrical panels (HT & LT).
- Work experience in estimation, schedule of work and tendering; working knowledge of CPWD procedures.
- Experience in erection and commissioning of HVAC works and equipment; experience in handling different kinds of electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Assistant Engineer/Junior Engineer (Electrical Maintenance Section) in all types of electrical maintenance and office work.
- Ensure observance of all safety measures under CEA Regulations during construction, operation and maintenance of electrical substations, supply lines, distribution systems, solar plant, switch gears, transformers, panels, DG sets, etc.
- Conduct recommended electrical tests as per Indian Standards/CEA/NEC/Indian Electricity Rules and inspect installations for safety compliance; maintain statutory records (inspection reports, test reports, prescribed Forms/Registers).
- Operate and maintain the 11KV/0.440 KV substation, switchyard equipment, VCB, ACB, distribution panels, lifts/elevators, DG sets with AMF panels, solar PV system, cabling, earthing, transformers, and look after erection and commissioning of HVAC works.
- Prepare estimates/BoQ for electrification/wiring work of high-rise buildings, departments, residential quarters, street lights, including supervision of ongoing electrical work.
