Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued Special Advertisement No. 52/2026 for recruitment by selection to 80 vacancies for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) in Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. - Probation: One (01) Year

Age Limit
- 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST
- Relaxable up to 10 years for PwBD (subject to maximum age limit of 56 years)
Essential Qualifications
- Degree of a recognised University or Equivalent
- Desirable: Diploma in Company Law / Labour Laws / Public Administration
Duties
To look after the work of Enforcement, Recovery, Accounts, Administration, Cash, Legal, Pension and Computer, including statutory and administrative functions like conducting inquiry, settlement of claims, General Administration, maintenance of Cash Book/Reconciliation of Bank Statements, MIS returns, etc.
Selection Process
- Recruitment Test (RT) on 20.12.2026 (pen & paper based, objective type, 2 hours, 300 marks, English & Hindi medium, negative marking of 1/3 for wrong answers)
- Interview of 100 marks; weightage of RT and Interview in the ratio of 75:25
