UPPSC Manager (System) / Senior Programmer / Programmer Grade-2 / Computer Operator Grade-B Examination 2026
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment examinations for the posts of Manager (System), Senior Programmer, Programmer Grade-2 and Computer Operator Grade-B (Computer Cadre). Advertisement No. A-2/E-1/2026 dated 03.08.2026. Application is OTR-based (online only); applications through any other medium will not be accepted.

Educational Qualification (as on last date)
- Manager (System): Degree in Computer Application. (Preference: 2 yrs Territorial Army service or NCC 'B' Certificate.)
- Senior Programmer: Degree with Diploma in Computer Application.
- Programmer Grade-2: Bachelor's degree from a University established by law in India (or recognized equivalent) + PG Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized Institute/University OR 'A' level Certificate from DOE (Deptt. of Electronics), Govt. of India; good knowledge of software development (C/C++, Fox Pro, RDMS like Oracle/Ingress/Sybase, DB2) in DOS/Unix/Windows, networking operating systems and office automation packages.
- Computer Operator Grade-B: Bachelor's degree with Diploma in Computer Science OR Bachelor's degree with 'O' level certificate from D.O.E.; knowledge of data entry in Hindi and English on software like MS Office/Lotus/SmartSuite etc.; typing speed 25 WPM (Hindi) and 40 WPM (English); knowledge of networking.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026)
- Minimum 21 years, maximum 40 years (born between 02.07.1986 and 01.07.2005).
- Upper age relaxation: SC/ST/OBC of UP, skilled players, State Govt employees, Basic Shiksha Parishad staff +5 years; PH (UP) +15 years (max 55 years); Emergency/Short Service Commissioned Officers / Ex-Army +3 years + service period; Chief Minister Fellowship research scholars relaxation up to 3 years.
Application Fee
- UR/EWS/OBC: Exam Rs. 200 + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 225
- SC/ST: Exam Rs. 80 + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 105
- PwD: Exam NIL + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 25
- Ex-Servicemen: Exam Rs. 80 + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 105
- Dependents of Freedom Fighters / Women / Skilled Players: per original category.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
- Manager (System): One objective paper – 110 questions, 220 marks, 2½ hours.
- Senior Programmer / Programmer Grade-2: One objective paper – 85 questions, 170 marks, 2 hours.
- Computer Operator Grade-B: Written 85 questions (170 marks) + Hindi & English Typing (55 marks) = total 225.
- Negative marking: 0.33 marks deducted per wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying standard: 35% (SC/ST), 40% (others).

How to Apply
- Obtain One Time Registration (OTR) number from otr.pariksha.nic.in (72 hours before application).
- Apply online only at the UPPSC website uppsc.up.nic.in.
- Complete all stages – OTR authentication, application details, fee payment (SBI MOPS), and final submission before the last date.
- Offline/postal applications are not accepted.
