Educational Qualification (as on last date)
- Architectural Assistant (UP Housing and Development Board): Knowledge of written Hindi in Devanagari script + either Intermediate Certificate in Architecture OR 3-year full-time / 4-year part-time course (Bombay or Maharashtra Govt.) with 2 years experience in planning related to architecture & planning, OR 3-year full-time Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from UP Board of Technical Education or a recognized institute with 3 years experience in planning-related maps/plans. (Experience certificate to be issued by the competent authority/Housing Commissioner.)
- Estate Manager (UP Housing and Development Board): Graduate from any recognized university (mandatory) + working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari. Preference: MBA or PGDMM from recognized state/national level universities/institutes. Degrees obtained through distance education are not acceptable. For the written exam: 90% weightage (written) + 10% weightage (MBA/PGDMM).
- Microbiologist (Food Safety and Drug Administration, UP): Post-Graduate degree in Microbiology from a University established by law in India or recognized equivalent qualification, with at least 3 years of experience in Microbiological testing of Food. (For M.Sc. in Microbiology, no equivalent qualification is prescribed per Order No. F.S.D.A./Microbiologist/285/2024/5552 dated 03.10.2024; experience certificate to be issued by the departmental head/competent authority.)
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026)
- Minimum 21 years, maximum 40 years (born between 02.07.1986 and 01.07.2005).
- SC/ST/OBC of UP, skilled players, State Govt employees, Basic Shiksha Parishad staff +5 years; PH (UP) +15 years (max 55 years); Ex-Army +3 years + service period; CM Fellowship research scholars up to 3 years relaxation with weightage as per rules.
Application Fee
- UR/EWS/OBC: Exam Rs. 200 + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 225
- SC/ST: Exam Rs. 80 + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 105
- PwD: Exam NIL + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 25
- Ex-Servicemen: Exam Rs. 80 + processing Rs. 25 = Rs. 105
Exam Pattern
- Separate objective-type examinations (General Studies + subject paper) with negative marking (0.33 per wrong answer).
- Minimum efficiency standard: 35% (SC/ST), 40% (others).
