About the Role

UPES is seeking a visionary, dynamic, and accomplished academic leader to serve as its next Vice Chancellor.

The Vice Chancellor will:

• Provide strategic direction and academic leadership across the university
• Strengthen UPES’s position as a global leader in education, research, and innovation
• Drive excellence in teaching, research output, industry partnerships, and institutional development
• Foster a culture of integrity, inclusivity, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Represent the university nationally and internationally in all academic and administrative matters

This is a senior leadership role requiring a proven track record of academic administration, scholarly contributions, institution-building experience, and a strong commitment to educational transformation.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility will be as per the UGC guidelines applicable for the appointment of Vice Chancellors in universities.
