TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 7112 SCT Constable, Fire Fighter and Warder Posts

Overview

Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released the recruitment notification for 7,112 vacancies for SCT Police Constable (Civil), SCT Police Constable (AR), SCT Police Constable (SAR CPL), SCT Constable in Special Protection Force, Fire Fighter, Warder (Male) and Warder (Female) posts under Notification No. Rc No. 189 / Rect. / Rect-2 / 2026. Candidates who have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination can apply, subject to the prescribed age, physical, medical and other eligibility conditions.

Total 7,112 vacancies across the Telangana Police Department, Telangana Special Protection Force Department, Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Department, and Telangana Prisons and Correctional Services Department.

The number of vacancies is tentative and may change during the recruitment process.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 29 July 2026. Candidates possessing qualifications higher than the prescribed Intermediate qualification will also be considered on par with candidates possessing the required qualification.

For Post Code 26 - Fire Fighter, candidates must additionally possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence as on the date of notification.

Gender Eligibility

Age Limit

For Post Codes 21 to 23, 25, 26, 27 and 28, the prescribed basic age requirement is 18 to below 22 years as on 01 July 2026.

The Government of Telangana has provided an additional relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for direct recruitment to uniformed services, including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments. Further category-wise and special-category age relaxations apply as prescribed in the official notification.

Pay Scale

The notified posts carry a pay scale of Rs. 24,280 - 72,850 for SCT Police Constable (Civil/AR/SAR CPL), SCT Constable - SPF, Fire Fighter, Warder (Male) and Warder (Female).

Application Fee

The application fee amount is determined through the TSLPRB online application system based on the post(s) selected by the candidate. OC and BC candidates with Telangana local status pay the fee designated in the online application; local SC and ST candidates of Telangana pay the applicable concessional fee; other candidates pay the fee designated by the online application system. Candidates applying for multiple eligible posts may receive the applicable fee rebate. Fee can be paid via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or other available payment methods, and once paid is not refunded.

Selection Process

The selection process includes: (1) Preliminary Written Test (PWT), (2) Physical Measurement Test (PMT), (3) Physical Efficiency Test (PET), (4) Final Written Examination (FWE), (5) Certificate Verification, and final selection as per the applicable post-wise merit criteria.

Preliminary Written Test (PWT)

Minimum qualifying marks in PWT: 30% for OC including EWS, 25% for BC and 20% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Home Guard candidates. Negative marking applies - in cases other than a single correct response or an unanswered question, 20% of the marks assigned to that question is deducted.

PMT and PET

Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Written Test proceed to the applicable Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates should carefully check the post-wise and gender-wise physical standards before applying.

Final Written Examination (FWE)

Candidates who qualify in the PET appear for the Final Written Examination - one paper of three hours duration. Maximum marks: 200 for Post Codes 21, 26, 27 and 28; 100 for Post Codes 22, 23 and 25. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for OC including EWS, 35% for BC and 30% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

3. Select the notification and the post(s) for which you are eligible.
4. Check the application fee generated based on the posts selected.
5. Pay the prescribed fee using an available online payment method.
6. Open the Apply Online section and complete the Part-I application.
7. Upload the passport-size photograph and specimen signature as prescribed.
8. Check all entered details carefully before submission and submit the application.
9. Download and save the submitted application form for future reference.

Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Written Test will later submit the Part-II Online Application and upload the required certificates/documents as per the schedule announced by TSLPRB.
