Age Limit (General): 18 to 22 years as on 1st July 2026. Via GO Ms No. 87 (GA Services-A Dept dated 18-05-2026), the upper age limit for direct recruitment in uniformed services has been raised by 5 years (in addition to the relaxations below).
Gender eligibility: Post Codes 21, 22, 25, 26 - Men & Women; Post Codes 23 & 27 - Men only; Post Code 28 - Women only.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 29.07.2026.
English, Arithmetic, General Science, History of India & Indian culture & National Movement, Principles of Geography, Indian Geography, Polity & Economy, Current events of national and international importance, Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability, and contents pertaining to the State of Telangana. Question papers set in English-Telugu & English-Urdu. The Board does not prescribe any particular textbook.
