Telgam Higher Secondary School – Guest Faculty Engagement 2026-27
Govt. Higher Secondary School, Telgam, Umerkote, Nabarangpur has invited applications for engagement of Guest Faculties in the +2 Arts Stream for academic year 2026-27 (Advertisement No. 01/2026 dated 04.11.2026).
Subjects offered
Odia, English, History, Economics, Political Science and Optional Odia.
Eligibility and remuneration
- Applications are invited from retired Government and Aided College/Higher Secondary School teachers below 65 years; fresh candidates will be considered if teachers are unavailable.
- Master's degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade and B.Ed./equivalent degree recognised by NCTE, New Delhi (in the case of B.Ed. subjects).
- Selection will be based on career assessment, teaching experience and basic computer-application experience.
- Guest Faculties will be paid ₹400 per 45-minute class/lecture, subject to a maximum of 50 classes and ₹20,000 per month.
- Engagement is purely temporary and will continue until the school closes for the next summer vacation of 2026-27 or a PGT is posted, whichever is earlier.
