This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with expertise in business analytics, information systems, and related disciplines to contribute to teaching, research, and service in a leading private university in Malaysia.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Research:
- Lead and conduct cutting-edge research in Business Analytics and related areas.
- Publish in top-tier peer-reviewed journals (Q1/Q2 Scopus indexed).
- Develop and secure external research funding.
- Supervise postgraduate research (Masters and Doctoral students).
- Build strong academic networks and collaborative research projects.
Teaching:
- Deliver engaging teaching across face-to-face and online platforms.
- Innovate in pedagogy and assessment for meaningful learning outcomes.
- Lead curriculum design and continuous improvement of programmes.
- Provide effective student mentoring and supervision.
Service:
- Contribute to academic leadership and administration.
- Support student recruitment, outreach, and engagement initiatives.
- Facilitate departmental operations and programme management.
- Provide academic guidance and counselling to students.
- Mentor early-career academics and support professional development.
🔹 Requirements
- A PhD in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- Demonstrated research productivity with 2–3 Q1/Q2 publications in reputable journals (Emerald, Elsevier, IEEE, Sage, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley).
- Technical expertise in:
- Programming languages: R, Python, HTML5, CSS, PHP
- Analytic tools: Tableau, Power BI, SmartPLS
- Teaching proficiency in:
- Web Design & Development
- Enterprise Resource Planning / Management
- Sustainable Information Systems
- Data Visualization & Business Intelligence
- Data Mining
- Python for Business Analytics
- Machine Learning
