Overview
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) (E/37/2026-C-2 Section). Departmental Constables / Head Constables / ASIs of Delhi Police (3+ years service, age up to 30 / 33 OBC / 35 SC-ST) may also apply for Open vacancies of SI (Executive) Delhi Police-Male.

Essential Qualification (as on 30.09.2026)
- SI Delhi Police & SI (GD) CAPFs: Bachelor degree from a recognized university or equivalent (final-year appearing candidates eligible if qualified by closing date)
- SI (Fire): BSc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, OR Matriculation + 3-year diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Automobile / Chemical / Mining / Aeronautical / Telecommunication Engineering (BTech/MTech in relevant fields allowed as value addition with basic diploma)
- Driving licence valid for LMV (Motorcycle/Car) required for Delhi Police SI (Male) at PET time as applicable
