Eligibility
Willing and eligible retired Central Government / State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Statutory Bodies employees who have retired from the post of Section Officer, Assistant Section Officer and Assistant or equivalent.
- SO: Must have retired from the post of Section Officer/ASO or equivalent. Preference given to retired officers belonging to Central Secretariat Services. Position of SO is often at Level 8 to 10 in the pay matrix.
- ASO: Must have retired from the post of ASO/SSA or equivalent. Preference given to retired officers belonging to Central Secretariat Services. Position of ASO is often at Level 4 to 7 in the pay matrix.
Desired Work Experience
- Experience of working in administrative matters / Establishment matters.
- Good communication, noting and drafting skill.
- Good working computer knowledge of MS Office and able to work on e-office platform.
- Knowledge of dealing in RTI, Court Cases and Parliamentary issues.
Period of Engagement
- Initial engagement for a period of one year, may be extended on year to year basis depending upon requirement of Sports Injury Centre and performance review of the consultants.
- Engagement shall not be extended beyond 5 years after the age of superannuation.
- Full time basis; not permitted to take up any other assignment during consultancy.
- Purely temporary and on contract basis; no right to seek regularization in any post.
Remuneration
- A fixed monthly amount arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement.
- No annual increment / percentage increase during the contract period. No increment and Dearness Allowance allowed.
- No other allowance such as DA, HRA, Residential Telephone, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff, benefit of CGHS, Medical Reimbursement and claim of LTC.
- Transport Allowance: fixed amount for commuting between residence and place of work, not exceeding rate applicable at the time of retirement. TA/DA on official tour as per entitlement at time of retirement.
Working Hours
- Normal office timing 09:00 A.M. to 04:00 P.M.
- May have to devote more time to meet exigencies of work, if required.
- Saturday is a working day in this office.

New Sports Injury Centre, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
Leave
Paid leave of absence at the rate of 1.5 days for each completed month of service. Accumulation of leave beyond a calendar year may not be allowed. No payment in lieu of un-utilized leaves.
