Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL) has invited applications for the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on Fixed Term Engagement (FTE) basis at Head Office, Mumbai / Navi Mumbai. Position Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
• Educational Qualification: Full-time Engineering Graduate or full-time Post Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication / Cyber Security related field, or Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) from a UGC/AICTE recognized University/Institute.
• Professional Qualifications (preferable, any one or more): CISSP, CISM, CISA.
• Work Experience: Minimum 18 years (AVP) / 21 years (VP) post-graduation, of which at least 08 years in progressively senior information/cybersecurity leadership roles, preferably CISO/Deputy CISO/Head of Information Security in Capital Market, Securities Market, Banking, Financial Services or other regulated sectors.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years as on 30-Jun-2026 (born on or after 01 July 1971).

Core Competency

• Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies and security architectures including IAM, PAM, Zero Trust and critical infrastructure protection.
• Compliance and risk management; translating legal/regulatory requirements into actionable security controls.
• Knowledge of SEBI CSCRF, RBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, ISO 27001, CIS Controls frameworks.
• Data protection technologies (DLP, data classification, encryption) under DPDP Act.
• Incident response, threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics; SOC, SIEM/MDR, EDR/XDR oversight.
• End-to-end cybersecurity project management, application security, Secure SDLC/DevSecOps, API security.
• Enterprise cyber risk management including third-party/vendor risk, supply-chain security.

Job Description

• Define and drive cybersecurity strategy, governance framework, and roadmap across StockHolding and all subsidiary companies.
• Ensure alignment of subsidiary cybersecurity programs with Group objectives and regulatory/business requirements.
• Develop and oversee cyber resilience, stress testing, and preparedness programs.
• Act as central cybersecurity coordination point for all subsidiary CISOs; drive cross-entity collaboration.
• Establish common security operating models, best practices, resolve inter-company security dependencies and escalations.
• Develop, review, update and oversee implementation of information security policies, standards, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with IT Act, DPDP Act, RBI, IRDAI, PFRDA regulations, ISO, SOC, SEBI framework.
• Provide management updates on cybersecurity posture and global developments.

Remuneration

Excludes Group Medical Insurance, Group Life Insurance and Group Accident Insurance. Further increment may be considered for suitable candidates.
