Skill Test Pattern

| Stenographer | Shorthand test: dictation of 400 words in Hindi/English for 5 minutes at 80 words per minute; 60 minutes to type on computer. Up to 20 errors allowed (errors beyond 20 are deducted from the word count for speed calculation). |
| Senior Administrative Assistant | Typing test (5 minutes each language): minimum 150 correct words in English and 125 correct words in Hindi, on computer using MS Word; Hindi typing in Mangal & Kruti Dev fonts. First five spelling mistakes ignored; thereafter 5 words deducted per mistake. Candidates may choose Hindi or English. |
Important Instructions
- There is no waiver of the skill test on production of certificates.
- All candidates will undergo biometric screening before the test; failing biometric screening means the candidate will not be allowed to appear.
- Candidates must qualify the skill test to be included in the final merit list (which is based only on the online recruitment examination marks) — there are no extra marks for the skill test.
- Bring the Admit Card (used in the CBT) and Aadhaar Card for verification.
- Electronic devices/mobile phones and other prohibited items are not allowed. No TA/DA is admissible.
