Eligibility

  • Assistant Manager (Law) – JMGS-I: LLB / 5-year integrated Law degree from a recognised university; enrolled with Bar Council of India / State Bar Council. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as Law Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank / PSU / reputed law firm. Age: 21 – 30 years (as on 01.07.2026).
  • Deputy Manager (Law) – MMGS-II: Same qualification. Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience as Law Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank / PSU / reputed law firm. Age: 25 – 35 years (as on 01.07.2026).
  • Upper age relaxation: SC/ST +5 years, OBC (NCL) +3 years, PwD +10/15 years, Ex-servicemen & departmental candidates as per SBI / Govt. of India rules.

Qualification / Education

  • LLB / 5-year integrated Law degree from a recognised university (mandatory).
  • Valid Bar Council of India / State Bar Council enrolment.
  • Relevant post-qualification experience as Law Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank / PSU / reputed law firm.

State Bank of India (SBI) has released the Admit Card / Call Letter for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) – Assistant Manager (Law) & Deputy Manager (Law) vide Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/02. The online written examination is scheduled to be held on 23 August 2026. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications can now download their hall ticket from the official IBPS-hosted SBI portal.
