GDMO posts identified suitable for PwBD candidates with minimum 40% disability (OA, OL, BL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV – non-surgical jobs; SLD; MD involving (a)-(b)).
Eligibility Criteria
- Registration: Registered with MCI / NMC / State Medical Council (SMC) or valid practitioner licence, enrolled in State/National Register.
- Age: Upper age limit 69 years as on 19.08.2026 (date of walk-in interview).
- Who can apply: Doctors retired from BSP/other SAIL units, other PSUs/Govt. offices, or any other eligible Doctor. Ex-employees separated through voluntary retirement shall not be considered.
Tenure & Terms
- Initial tenure 1 year, extendable by 1 year at company discretion; maximum 3 years, no bar on re-engagement. Subject to upper age limit of 70 years.
- Working: minimum 8 hours/day, 6 days/week (48 hrs/week); pro-rated for less hours.
- 10 days leave per year subject to prior approval.
- Company accommodation on payment basis (rent-free at mines location); no HRA admissible.
- No PF/Gratuity or other benefits; no Non-Practicing Allowance; maternity leave as per Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
Selection Procedure
- Document Verification: Only eligible candidates allowed to appear in the interview.
- Interview: Final selection merit list prepared in descending order separately for each discipline & category based on interview marks.
