Eligibility and marks

| License | Valid officiating licence/pass in the officiating examination (20 marks). International technical officials with a relevant international federation certificate are preferred. |
| Experience | State/national-level officiating in at least one tournament between 2021 and 2026 (up to 40 marks), and Khelo India/National Games officiating (up to 40 marks). |
| Other criteria | Maximum 40 technical officials; male:female ratio 60:40; female officials scoring at least 50 marks are selected directly; maximum 5 officials per State/UT; candidates aged 60 or above are not considered. |
