RVNL Executive Director (Mechanical) Deputation 2026
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna CPSE under Ministry of Railways, invites applications for the post of Executive Director (Mechanical) at Corporate Office, New Delhi on deputation basis for five years.
About RVNL
RVNL is the construction arm of Indian Railways engaged in development of rail infrastructure, metro projects, highways, bridges, tunnels and major infrastructure projects across India and overseas. RVNL handles large-scale projects including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, electrification and metro corridors.

Minimum Eligibility
For Executive Director: Level-15 (CDA) / IDA E-9 (Rs. 1,50,000 - 3,00,000/-): Officers of Mechanical Engg. Department holding substantively:
- (i) Posts in analogous grade (CDA / IDA); OR
- (ii) Posts in Level-14 (CDA) and having at least 25 years of service in Group A; OR
- (iii) Posts carrying grade IDA E-8 (Rs. 1,20,000 - 2,80,000/-) for at least four years
Experience & Preference
Preference will be given to candidates having exposure in:
- Infrastructure related project planning and execution
- Maintenance or manufacturing of Trainsets (Vande Bharat, MEMU, DEMU, EMU etc.)
- Railway C&W, Loco operations
- Project execution within a railway unit or PSU project
Compensation Package
The pay and emoluments shall be as per the IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,50,000 - 3,00,000 (E-9), along with admissible perks, HRA/Lease, medical facilities, EPF, gratuity, PRP and other benefits as per Company rules.
