Ranchi Institute of Neuro Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (RINPAS), Kanke, Ranchi, an autonomous Institution under the Government of Jharkhand, invites applications for the post of Director. The Institution is being developed into a Modern Treatment-cum-Teaching and Research Institution for Mental Health.

Job Profile

• The Director shall be the Chief Executive of the Institution responsible for its management along with preparation and execution of Development Plans
• Member Secretary of the Management Committee of the Institution
• Reports to Additional Chief Secretary / Principal Secretary / Secretary, Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand

Vacancy Details

• Director – 01 Post
• Tenure: 05 (five) years from the date of appointment (for working officials), and up to 70 years of age for retired officials appointed on contract, whichever comes first

Eligibility Criteria (Experience)

• Minimum 15 (fifteen) years of teaching/research/practical experience in any Psychiatry Institute / Department of Psychiatry of any Medical College under the Health Department (State Government or Government of India), including service as a Professor, AND
• Minimum 02 (two) years of experience as Head of Department or Medical Superintendent or Dean or Unit Head

Age Limit

• Not exceeding 65 years for currently serving officials and 70 years for retired officials

Salary & Allowances

• Pay Scale: PB-IV Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 10,000 (6th CPC) / Level-14, minimum salary Rs. 1,44,200/- per month (7th CPC)
• Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) as per State Govt. rules
• Rent-free accommodation
