- Essential: Three-year Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc. or equivalent Degree in an appropriate field
- Experience: 5 years' relevant laboratory experience with knowledge of computer applications, electronic instruments, repair & maintenance and handling of sophisticated instruments
- Age limit: 40 years
- Remuneration: Rs. 60,000 per month (consolidated; no other allowances)
- Tenure: Initially one year, extendable up to 3 years on yearly renewal
