Overview

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), Indore has released the provisional interview shortlist (roll-number wise) for the Assistant Professor Examination-2025 (Economics) vide Notice No. 7956/10/2026/An.-10 dated 11.09.2026. The shortlist is published under Advertisement No. 21/2025 dated 30.12.2025 and contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the personal interview round along with the deadline for submitting the required documents.

Why Is the Shortlist Divided into Main and Provisional Parts?

Because of pending court cases on OBC reservation, and as directed by the General Administration Department and per the Commission’s decision dated 10.07.2023, 87% of the OBC-related posts are treated as the confirmed Main part, while the remaining 13% is held as Provisional, pending final court orders.

Candidates must send their documents in an envelope marked with the subject name, e.g., “Documents for Assistant Professor (Economics) Examination-2025 Interview”, to:

Documents submitted just before the interview call letter is issued attract a late fee of ₹25,000. Candidates are advised to cross-check the applicable late fee provisions in the official notice before submission.

3. Download the subject-wise result PDF for Assistant Professor (Economics) Examination-2025.
4. Use the PDF search tool (Ctrl+F) to locate your roll number in the Main/Provisional shortlists.

Important Instructions

• The shortlist is entirely provisional. If a shortlisted candidate does not meet the notified eligibility rules, their interview candidature will be cancelled automatically.
• Reserved-category candidates whose marks are equal to or higher than the unreserved category cut-off are also shown as shortlisted under the unreserved category in both the Main and Provisional parts, as per rules.
• The interview date for each subject will be announced separately by the Commission.
• The final selection outcome of pending court cases will remain subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court (SLP No. 8764/2023, SLP No. 12398/2023) and the Hon’ble High Court (WP No. 5901/2019, WP No. 5596/2024).
• Incomplete, incorrect or false information in the online application may lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
• The Commission is not responsible for printing errors; the list kept at the Commission’s office will be treated as authentic.
• The Commission reserves the right to correct any technical or clerical error noticed after publication.
