Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the engagement of Young Professionals (YP) under Advertisement No. RBI/TMD1/YP/06/2026-27/01 dated 15 June 2026. This is a contractual opportunity for specialised roles in various Central Office Departments (CODs) in Mumbai.
Total Positions: 12
One position each across the following work areas:
1. Cyber Security
2. Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
3. Climate Finance
4. Data Analytics
5. Digital Payments
6. Economics & Policy Research
7. Financial Inclusion
8. Financial Markets
9. Fintech & Innovation
10. Quantitative Technology
11. Regulatory Technology (RegTech)
12. Risk Management
Stipend: Rs.1,50,000/- per month (fixed consolidated, subject to tax deductions)
Tenure: Initial 3 years, extendable up to 5 years. This is a contractual engagement and does not confer any right for regular absorption in RBI service.
Qualification:
Varies by work area — typically Master's Degree / Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Engineering, Economics, Finance, Law, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) from a recognised university/institution. Relevant work experience preferred.
Age Limit: 21 to 30 years as on 06 July 2026. Age relaxation as per RBI rules.
